 Be on the Go with LRO
In addition to accounts with Twitter, MySpace and Facebook, Life Rolls On Foundation is pleased to announce that iPhone/iTouch users (and soon smart phone users) will be able to stay in touch with a new Apple application called match2blue.
What’s unique about match2blue is it enables you to see if there are people in your proximity who are interested in Life Rolls On, even if they are not currently among your group of friends. While other applications let you see people’s locations who are already existing members of your contact list, with match2blue, you are able to see people you haven’t yet met, but are still supporters of LRO.
LRO users can use this application to connect with other Life Rolls On supporters in their area. For example, if they wanted to carpool to the next They Will Surf Again, they could simply check out if anyone nearby is also member of Life Rolls On and link up to find out if a carpool might work for them. Or, if they want to hit some of the parties during the US Open of Surfing and want to find friends to join in, they could locate LRO community members currently in the area through match2blue.
What’s cool is match2blue utilizes a 5-star system, which means the more stars you see in someone’s profile, the more you have in common with that person. So, not only might you be members of Life Rolls On, but you may also learn that you also like the same music, the same foods and even have the same hobbies. You just might meet your new BFF through match2blue!
